Conversion Kits

Portpack can offer the following service to up-date any equipment of mechanical design, conversion from mechanical lever system using 5:1 ratio beam mounted on knife edges and bearings with electro-pneumatic controls, subject to a survey to determine the condition of the equipment.

Portpack can offer a full conversion kit which can be fitted on site to replace a mechanical lever system type machine. This will include loadcell weighing with full Siemens PLC control and CSX approved microprocessor self optimising controller. This equipment will then operate at maximum speed with facility to show all transactions, number of weighments per weigher and records of bag weights and standard deviation.

The conversion and recommissioning of the equipment will be carried out by experienced Portpack engineers.
