New world record for discharge, bagging and loaded on trucks in 24 hours.

Karachi Port, Pakistan, date 14 December 2006. MV IKAN ACAPULC carrying DAP fertilisers supplied by Phoschem USA and being handled through Karachi Port Trust had 11,371 tonnes discharged, weighed, bagged into 50kg bags in 24 hours.

This world record was achieved using 6 Portpack PP2000 mobile bagging plants fed by 4 ten cubic metre clamshell grabs.

An article appeared in the Dawn newspaper published in Karachi covering this achievement.
