Maintenance and Service Agreements
One of the After Sales Service’s offered by Portpack is for a six monthly or annual maintenance/service contract, this entails a Portpack technician attending the customers site to identify any problems or worn parts that could have an adverse effect on the performance or accuracy of the equipment.
Whilst on site the technician will carry out a preventative maintenance programme, to ensure that the equipment settings are correct, so that the equipment is providing accurate and consistent weighing.
Following the visit our engineer will produce a report of his findings, detailing any problems found regarding incorrect settings, poor maintenance practices, they will also give advice of parts that they consider to be worn and could give rise to future problems if not replaced. If required the technician will also provide the customer with a maintenance checklist.
Preventative maintenance and servicing could help prevent unforeseen downtime, at the time when a customer least needs it.
