Mobile Bagging Unit
The core product of Portpack UK Limited is the Containerised Mobile Bagging unit. The units are mounted on wheels and can be easily moved alongside vessel to each hatch for discharge directly into the top Grab Load Hopper. The units weigh and stitch bags of different construction W.P.P., Jute, Paper and also P.E. which can be heatsealed. All free flowing granular materials can be handled e.g. food grains and granular fertilisers.
The normal range of weighment is 25Kg - 100Kg other weights can be handled to meet customers specific requirements.
The Mobile Bagging unit consists of two ISO specially designed and Lloyds approved 20' containers. These containers are quickly assembled on site for immediate use and house the following equipment.
Upper Container Integral feed hopper to feed directly into the weighing machines, air cooled compressor with two stage pump to provide compressed air to the total system, the main control panel with PLC systems.
Lower Container The discharge chute which feeds the weighed product from weigher above into the bag held by the bag gripper which then releases the filled bag onto the stitching / sealing conveyor. This is then fed through the Union Special 80800C stitching machines and the, stitched / sealed bags are moved along the conveyor to be fed onto the Inclined Truck Loading Conveyor to be stacked immediately onto the waiting trucks.
The Mobile Bagging unit can be supplied in a number of different configurations.
